Academics

Our Academic Curriculum aims to enable students to become successful leaders who enjoy learning, make progress and learn to achieve independently. The syllabus is not based on a set of text books only but on a checklist of learning objectives and attainment targets that are available on our school website  sgi.lgsjt.edu.pk To provide an authentic process for assessing student understanding, assessments are ongoing and unannounced. We strive to enable students to synthesize and apply their learning of previous years as they transition from one grade to the next. Our resources include a range of text books, handouts, multimedia, lab and field work Children are taught to use the dictionary, thesaurus, atlas, interviews, surveys, the library and different search engines as tools of learning.

Preschool

Our Early Childhood Program incorporates the Montessori philosophy and material in a well planned environment where social, emotional, and intellectual development takes place. The students learn to read, write and build their skills through playing, singing, and activities to become successful students. The cognitive skills learned at this stage may seem simple, but they set a child up for a lifetime of knowledge.  In addition to academics, Preschool also helps the children with the development of positive self-esteem, gross and fine motor skills and also work on critical speech. The children graduating from our Preschool are well prepared for education anywhere in the world.
